Will Provide R&B / Jazz
/ Hip-Hop Label With Marketing,
Distribution and Sales Services.
Phoenix Music & Media
Group (PMMG) today announced
an exclusive agreement with
Los Angeles-based FASE 1-
Universal / Fontana Music
. Phoenix Music & Media
was founded in 2001 by Juan
Coon and Aaron Brown and
is positioning itself to
become one of the country's
most successful independent
labels. With an extensive
roster of locally and nationally
recognized artists including
stars Sharon Bryant, Zen,
Moments Notice, Danielle,
Axxis and Pete Belasco ,
this partnership represents
the latest renowned independent
label to join the FASE 1
family. John "JF"
Ferguson , president of
FASE1 says "Juan and
Aaron have great ears, with
the music and talent they
have assembled I expect
Phoenix to make a lot of
noise in 2009."
Effective immediately, Phoenix
Music & Media will have
the ability to utilize various
aspects of FASE 1's extensive
network of sales, promotion
and marketing resources
to further promote its stable
of cutting-edge artists.
Fontana / Universal Music
will primarily handle distribution.
In making the announcement
Juan Coon, President &
Co-Founder of Phoenix Music

based out of Los Angeles
inks deal with FASE1 exclusively
distributed by Fontana/
Universal. "This
label has the the sound

do something fresh coming

name 110 come from the
110 Harbor Fwy that runs
through South Central
LA..110 consists of *
Y.g vocals(27) * Yung
Lost vocals(23) * Young
Cree-8 vocals(21)and they
tell grim urban stories
mixed w stories of aspiration
and elevating your game
despite the odds.The debut
album "State Traffic"
Will feature the Ambassador
of the Bay E-40 and Hot
Bay Area artist Turftalk
and former Kausion and
Regime frontman Gonzoe.
The album will be a joint
venture with Taupnoych
Entertainment(T.N.E)/Fase1Ent,
exculisively distributed
by Fontana/Universal.
It is slated to drop in
June/July 09.
